No Cameras, Please !!

Now, this is soo très cool!!
Balenciaga released their “No cameras, please” campaign for Spring 2018  through Instagram , and it will surely be a hit!!
Shot by real French paparazzi, models are shown shielded by bodyguards and hiding their faces, as if asking for “no cameras, please” So very Demna Gvasalia; high designer street style!!  Makes you want some of those great, cool bags right now!!

Vocabulary of Solitude…

I was so moved with the “Vocabulary of Solitude” exhibition by Ugo Rondinone at The Bass Museum in Miami Beach…
Forty five life-size clown figures in passive, contemplative moods who together describe the anguish of human solitude.
Dream,  sleep, wake,  daydream, breathe, be, remember,  sit,  cry,  hope…. to name a few of our human emotions. As described by Rondinone, “Good art revolutionizes your whole being. It is something that stops you, or slows you down”.

Norma Kamali…

I’m partial to Norma Kamali… when she gets it right, it’s a blockbuster!!
So, with the ’80s inspiration back, it’s a perfect time for her to bring some of her most iconic looks, re-designed with just the right amount of an update. This collection looks just great!!  So wearable, easy and fresh. J’adore!!

Chubby Hearts over London…

Just LOVE this!! “Chubby Hearts over London”, the design project conceived by English designer Anya Hindmarch as a love letter to London, that has heart balloons flying over the city!!
Starting on Valentine’s Day, and continuing through the soon to start London’s Fashion Week , giant chubby heart balloons will be suspended over London landmarks as a declaration of love to the city. The balloons will disappear each evening and appear again in a different location each day. Now, isn’t this just a great, inspiring idea??

Spirits Within…

“Spirits Within”… the Tim Walker fantasy and illusion shoot for the February Vogue Italia, as part of the new vision of Editor in Chief Emanuele Farneti…  at Italian Vogue, a new beginning after Franca Sozzani.

Violet Heart…

Finally made it to the “Violet Heart” exhibition at Arte@Plaza in Plaza las Américas…
Produced by Petrus Gallery and the Puerto Rican Art & Fashion History Council, over twenty local fashion designers and artists presented their creations inspired by violet, the Pantone color of the year and the color that “lights the way to what is yet to come”. For all fashion and art lovers…

About Red…

“Red is the great clarifier, bright and revealing. I can’t imagine becoming bored with red;  it would be like becoming bored with the person you love”.

Prada @ Miami’s Design District…

Loved visiting the new Prada store in the heart of the Miami Design District …
The interior of the store is perfection!! Prada’s signature green walls and checkerboard floors mixed in with wonderful, unique mid-century furniture  from Miuccia’s personal collection looks so new!!
Loved the store’s special Miami  inspired collections as well. Colorful, light, and fresh, but still very much with the Prada aesthetic. A must stop for every fashionista when in Miami Beach.

Street Style Chic…

With the haute couture shows just recently over, and the international Fashion Weeks just about to start, a recap on some of the hottest looks from the “Crème de la crème” fashionistas attending the Haute Couture week in Paris.
The shows outside the shows are about to begin!!

Linda’s Front Row Fitting Room…

As if a visit to Linda’s at Bergdorf’s unique shop wasn’t a fashion moment to enjoy, the fitting room is an experience by itself !!
Walls totally covered with front-row fashion week invites from years of Fargo’s work as a buyer and fashion director for Bergdorf’s as well as unique photos and artwork from her personal collection. All the big names are here… so many beautiful invites that are collectible art pieces on their own. Such a great idea!!
